Bio basics Name: Kirk Hammett Age: 19 Original Location: California Sexual orientation: Bisexual (possibly gay in denial) story Kirk was born and raised in California. His life was fairly uneventful until he started getting into music and was interested in his brother's guitar/record collection. When he got old enough, he got a job and saved up for his very first guitar. The first thing he did was learn how to play it the best he could. His first band, however, was not Metallica. It was a band called Exodus. Although he only played on the demo, it was enough to get his feet wet and make him want to play even more, so he started getting lessons. A little after he'd started getting lessons, he was invited to play with the band Metallica to replace Dave Mustaine. Although they never officially told him he was in the band, he started playing gigs almost immediately and it generally went unsaid. Currently, he is still playing a few gigs out of town, trying to make their big break and working on their demo. personality Kirk is the peacekeeper of Metallica. He's the first one to jump in and try to break up James and Lars when they start to fight. He is very calm and tries to keep his ego in check at all times. He enjoys surfing and mountain-biking, but he doesn't get to do a whole lot of the former due to lack of water. etc. disclaimer: no, i'm not really kirk hammett. this is for the rp woodlake, which you should definitely go join. |
